Obie works directly inside Slack, so your team can get insights, generate content, and manage your Brandwise account without leaving your workspace.

Setting Up

  1. Go to Settings → Obie → Slack in your Brandwise dashboard

  2. Click Connect to Slack

  3. Authorize Obie in your Slack workspace

  4. Choose a default brand for Obie to work with

How to Use Obie in Slack

Mention @Obie in any Slack channel or thread to start a conversation. Obie responds in-thread so your channels stay organized.

  • Ask questions — analyze your inbox, ads, and engagement data right from Slack

  • Generate images — create ad creatives and post them directly in the thread

  • Modify your account — update your Knowledge Base, create Smart Labels, or set up Automations

  • Get reports — ask Obie to send weekly reports to a specific Slack channel

Confirmations

When Obie needs to make a change to your account (like creating a Smart Label or editing the Knowledge Base), it posts an interactive confirmation message in Slack. Click Approve or Deny to control what changes go through.

Disconnecting

To disconnect Obie from Slack, go to Settings → Obie → Slack and click Disconnect. You can reconnect at any time.

Example Prompts (in Slack)

  • "@Obie what are the top customer complaints this week?"

  • "@Obie generate a 4:5 ad image for our spring collection"

  • "@Obie create a weekly cross-channel report and post it to #marketing every Monday"
