Comment Sync lets you import historical comments from your Facebook and Instagram pages into Brandwise. Once imported, these comments appear in your inbox just like real-time comments — you can moderate, reply, label, and run automations on them.
This is useful if you connected your pages after comments had already accumulated, or if you want to retroactively moderate older posts.
How to Access
Go to Settings > Comment Sync
Click Create New Sync
You need Owner, Admin, or Manage Comments & DMs permission to create a sync.
Step 1: Configure Your Sync
Choose which pages to sync and how far back to go.
Pages — Select one or more connected Facebook or Instagram pages
Timeframe — Choose from All history, Last year, Last 180 days, Last 90 days, or a custom date range
Post Types — Choose Organic + Ads, Only ads, or Only organic
Click Continue to start scanning.
Step 2: Review Scan Results
Brandwise scans your selected pages and counts the comments that match your configuration. This may take a few moments. You can leave the page and come back — your sync will continue in the background.
Once scanning is complete, you will see:
Total comments found
Total posts scanned
Number of pages included
You will also choose an import mode:
Hide negative/spam comments — AI scans every imported comment and automatically hides negative, spam, and toxic content
Import only — Import all comments without AI moderation
Step 3: Confirm & Pay
Review your sync summary and complete payment.

With AI Moderation — $20 per 1,000 comments
Import Only — $5 per 1,000 comments
Payment Options
Pay Separately (recommended) — Pay the full amount via Stripe. This preserves your AI credits for moderating future incoming comments.
Use AI Credits (moderated imports only) — Apply your existing AI credits toward the import at a rate of 1 credit per comment. Any remaining cost is charged via Stripe. If your credits fully cover the cost, no payment is needed.
Using all your credits for a sync means future incoming comments cannot be moderated until your billing cycle renews. We recommend paying separately to keep your credits available.
Tracking Your Syncs
The Comment Sync dashboard shows all your syncs with real-time progress:
Active Syncs — currently running imports
Completed — finished imports
Comments Synced — total comments imported across all syncs
Posts Scanned — total posts scanned across all syncs
Each sync in the table shows its status, progress bar, pages involved, timeframe, and comment count.

Comment Sync currently supports Facebook and Instagram. Support for additional platforms may be added in the future.
FAQ
Do synced comments count toward my AI credits?
Only if you choose the "Hide negative/spam comments" option during import. If you select "Import only," no credits are used.
Can I sync the same page twice?
Yes. Each sync is independent — you can run multiple syncs with different timeframes or post type filters.
What happens to synced comments in my inbox?
They appear alongside your real-time comments. You can filter, label, reply, and run automations on them just like any other comment.
