Brandwise provides built-in translation tools to simplify multi-language conversations across both comments and direct messages. You can view, translate, and reply to customer interactions in any language — fully integrated into your inbox.

Translate Incoming Comments/DMs

To get started, first open the "Page Settings" menu located on the Inbox page and navigate to the "Translation" tab

Default Translation Language

Select the language you want all translations to automatically display in. All foreign language comments will be translated into this language by default.

View Translated by Default

When enabled, translated versions of foreign-language comments will automatically appear in your inbox view without needing to manually translate each comment.

Brandwise automatically detects when an incoming comment or DM is written in a foreign language. The system displays an Original Language Indicator, allowing you to quickly translate the content if needed.

  • Displays the original language of the comment or DM

  • Clicking the tag will toggle between:

    • The original text

    • The automatically translated text (based on your default translation language setting)

  • Helps you review the original message before composing your response.

Translate Outgoing Comment/DM Replies

When replying to a comment or DM, Brandwise allows you to write your response in your native language, and then automatically translate it before posting or sending.

Translate Button

  • Found inside both Comment Reply and DM Reply windows.

  • After typing your response, click Translate to automatically convert your reply into the customer’s original language.

  • Once translated, your reply is ready to send with the Post (Comments) or Send (DMs) button.

Note:

  • AI drafts will be written in your default language so you can first verify the content before translating. Be sure to click "Translate" before sending

  • If auto-reply is enabled, outgoing replies will automatically be translated to the customer's original language
