Connecting and Using the Shopify Integration

Overview

Our Shopify integration allows you to connect your Shopify store with your Brandwise account to streamline customer support. Once connected, you can manage orders directly from your email inbox and link social media users to their Shopify order history. This helps you resolve customer inquiries faster and process address changes, refunds, and more, without having to leave your Brandwise inbox.

How to Connect Your Shopify Store

Follow these steps to connect your Shopify store to Brandwise:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Shopify in your Brandwise account.

  2. Click on the "Connect Shopify" button. This will redirect you to the Shopify App Store.

  3. Install the Brandwise app in your Shopify store.

  4. After installation, you will be redirected back to Brandwise. You may be asked to select the organization you want to connect the store to.

  5. Once you select the organization, the connection is complete. You will see a "Shopify account connected" notification, and the status will show as "Installed" on the Shopify settings page.

Shopify Integration with DMs

The Shopify integration allows you to link a customer from a DM conversation to their Shopify order history. This is useful for quickly understanding a customer's recent purchases and providing better support.

  1. In a DM conversation, click on the "Link to Shopify customer" button.

  2. A dialog will appear, allowing you to search for a Shopify order by name (e.g., #1001).

  3. Search for the order and select the correct one from the results.

  4. Click "Link to Shopify Customer". The customer's social media handle will now be associated with their Shopify account.

Shopify Integration with Email and AI Automations

The Shopify integration is most powerful when used with your email inbox. It allows our AI to suggest and automate common order-related tasks. As you receive emails, Brandwise will automatically match the email ticket to a customer profile in Shopify and import their existing order information.

To use these features, you must first connect your email inbox to Brandwise.

Shopify Actions

When you open an email related to a Shopify order, you'll be able to make changes to the customer's orders directly in Brandwise. These actions include:

  • Cancel Order: Cancel the entire order. If the order has been paid, a full refund will be issued.

  • Refund Order: Issue a full or partial refund without requiring the customer to return the items.

  • Create Replacement: Create a free replacement order. The original order remains unchanged.

  • Update Shipping Address: Change the shipping address for an order.
